Job Description : Full Job Description- Staff Accountant Farrelli’s is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant who enjoys multi-tasking and working on special projects. The ideal candidate has a desire to learn new things and progressively take on more challenging work.RESPONSIBILITIES· Month End Close Activities (journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis)· Process A/R and A/P invoices and help with special projects as assigned· Assist with Sales Tax preparation and Sales Tax Rate review· Support Accounting Manager and CFO with ERP implementation tasks (testing, validation, etc.)· Prioritize workload as established by Accounting Manager· Participate in in workflow and system enhancement design and implementationsREQUIREMENTS· Associate degree in Accounting/Finance- required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.· 1-4 years of experience in Accounting/Finance· Ability to work with minimal supervisionWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel, required.Must possess a strong understanding of accounting practices and principles.Proven track record of being self-motivated, working with minimal supervision, and partnering with diverse team members and outside sources required.· Excellent organization and communication skills· Ability to work well with individuals at all levels and as part of a team· Strong problem solving/analytical skills· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word· Experience with Acumatica or similar ERP a plusWhen you begin a career at Farrelli’s, you aren’t just starting any job.
