We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join us in our Wenatchee, Washington office! This is a full-time position and is on-site, in our office in downtown Wenatchee.The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting and supporting the finance and accounting management team with general accounting responsibilities reporting and analysis. In order to support the field personnel and management at the highest level, the Staff Accountant is expected to have an understanding of all essential accounting modules within our Vista software as well as an understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.Benefits: GBI offers a very competitive salary and benefit package that includes health benefits, paid vacation/sick/holidays, profit sharing plan and an annual bonus program.GBI is a drug-free workplace. All successful applicants offered the position will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supporting the finance and accounting department, including but not limited to the following:* GL account reviews and reconciliationsMonthly financial close processAssist with audits and tax reporting as directed by managementPrepare and maintain miscellaneous company financialsAssist with personal property tax managementAssist with quarterly and annual budgeting processSpecial projects and tasks as determined by managementSKILLS/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: Four-year degree in Finance or AccountingCPA preferredMinimum two years of accounting experienceMust have computer experience with MS Suite of software and other software as requiredWe conform to all the laws, statutes, and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
