We provide comprehensive aircraft engine leasing services to the domestic and international aviation industry.Hartford Aviation Group, Inc. is seeking an energetic, fast learning and organized Staff Accountant to join our Team. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance and President of the company. You will be a key accounting team member, providing valuable accounting and financial information that will be used to make business decisions that directly impact the company’s bottom line.Specific DutiesWill work closely with the VP of Finance and company President.Compile and prepare all monthly revenue and expense reports as required, for review by senior management.Perform audits of financial transactions and documents.Strong AP/AR experience.Fixed Assets – Maintain depreciation and property tax schedules.Enter all cash receipts, cash disbursements and bank transfers into the accounting software; reconcile cash accounts in the accounting software or as required.Help maintain an Inventory in QuickBooks.Support the accurate and timely tracking of expenses by entering invoices into the accounting software, allocating expenses to the appropriate accounts.Financial Statement preparation, analysis and forecasting.Perform cost accounting functions.Compile year end reports and documents as required by our external CPA firm.Perform journal entriesWork on special projects as needed.Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time.Assist our team in compiling spreadsheets to track various aspects such as costs, expenses and income related to our engines.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability To Work Under Pressure.Provide assistance and support to all departments, willingness to collaborate with others.Critical thinking, problem solving, and able to proactively suggest long-term solutions.Possess an exceptional ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.Have the ability to seamlessly move between projects & tasks, without losing sight of what’s important to do.Job Type: Full-timePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:QuickBooks: 2 years (Preferred)Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
