Job Description : Our agency is currently assisting the County of San Diego in their need for temporary Accounting Assistance to support the functions of one of their departments. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with the County!Details: Job title: Staff AccountantLocation: San Diego, 92131Schedule: 8am-5pm; Monday-Friday (Non-remote)Pay Rate: $20/hour (Fixed; non-negotiable)Duration: Up to 90 daysJob Duties: The job incumbent will assist with Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable backlogs; reviews records of original entry regarding accounts receivable, accounts payable, expenditures, and income; processes and journalizes accounting transactions for a department or program; reviews the posting and maintenance of financial records performed by clerical staff; reconciles data between BCMS and Oracle; provides courteous, high quality service to members of the public by personally responding to requests for service or making appropriate referral; and other special projects.Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of relatable accounting experienceMust be fully vaccinated against COVID-19All interested individuals should submit their resumes for immediate consideration!Job Types: Full-time, TemporaryPay: $20.00 per hourPhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
