You’ll be in charge of handling accounting duties ranging from daily G/L entries, credit card payment postings, accounts reconciliation, accounts receivable collection, and accounts payable while also being the primary backup for a variety of other functions.Ideally you’d have a BBA in Accounting due to the complexity of the accounting tasks. An eye for details, strong organizational skills, good multitasking aptitude, and a customer service mindset are also important for this role.The objectives below will be used to evaluate your ability in the first 2 months regardless of your experience.Month 1:Enter daily receipts with 100% accuracyCorrectly balance receipts between bank, accounting system, and internal systemContact 50% of past due accounts 90+ days old, document contact and outcome for Manager reviewAssign General Ledger codes to A/P Invoices, submit to Manager for review, and attain a 50% accuracy rateEnter Invoices into accounting system for Manager review with 100% accuracyMonth 2:Prepare 5 General Ledger entries with 100% accuracyMaintain credit card receipts, reconcile statements, code and enter into General LedgerIndependently reconcile 2 General Ledger accountsMaintain schedules for Prepaid Expenses and Fixed Assets making corresponding month end entries for depreciation and amortizationAfter month 2, the performance objectives will be determined by your manager.With the variety of amazing perks we offer to all employees (including 100% paid medical and dental premiums, on-site wellness amenities, 401(k) plan with company matching, and more), we recognize that no one wants to feel stagnant.
