Job Description : Opportunity for a Senior Accounting Associate to work with the management team of a local, Springfield-based credit union. Annual Salary is $55, 000-$65, 000 (based on experience).

In this role, you will assist with the daily operations of the accounting department. Some of your regular tasks include the following:

Perform periodic financial statements and provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data

Prepare monthly reports

Post, reconcile, adjust, and maintain weekly general ledger and process month-end close

Manage accounts payable system, process weekly invoices, and manage/maintain accounting records to ensure accuracy

Senior Accounting Associate Requirements:
At least 3 years of accounting experience

Banking or financial services experience preferred

Bachelor’ s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
