Job Description : This Staff Accountant role is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for commonly managed and operated entities. This position is designed to work in cooperation with the Accounting Leadership to ensure month end and routine tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The staff accountant will be responsible for properly classifying, coding and the decision making associated with all transactions to create accurate and timely financial records for the organization. This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to self -manage workflow for high-volume activity in a fast-paced, growing company.Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Prepare revenue recognition schedules for business entitiesComplete monthly balance sheet account reconciliationsDaily cash log reconciliation for multiple companiesDaily cash balances report for multiple companiesReconcile and create invoices for non-insurance billingAccounts Receivable follow-upAssist with month end close process with team membersCreate, organize, and maintain all financial files, keeping all files confidentialHands on in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, preparation of financial statements and adherence to deadlinesComplete special projects as neededAny other accounting tasks needed or assignedQualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting is preferred, including, but not limited to, month end close and analysis, general ledger account reconciliations, account analysisInternship or professional accounting experienceExperience with Intacct accounting software preferredFamiliarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and proceduresAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong critical thinking, problem-solving and financial analysis skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityDemonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to employees and external vendors in a professional, articulate, and respectful mannerThe position requires a highly motivated and organized individual who is willing to diversify and has the ability to work on a variety of projects independently and within a team structureFollow–through and responsiveness are critically importantAble to prioritize projects based upon business demands during multiple requests from various departments/business unitsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork from homeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):How many years of experience do you have with finance/billing reconciliation?Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Revenue Cycle: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
