Job Description : Staff AccountantMidcon is looking for an ‘owner’ to excel in Midcon’s fast-paced, diverse environment.Midcon Cables Company, a leading provider of cabling and wire interconnect solutions for the defense and aerospace industry has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant.This is a full time position and responsibilities include account analysis, journal entries, assisting in month end closings, AP & AR functions, and other special projects as required.Candidates should have an overall knowledge of the accounting process in a manufacturing environment and must have a degree in accounting.Accuracy, attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and good organizational skills are essential.Candidates must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel.A minimum of three (3) year’s experience in a manufacturing environment is required.Midcon offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, Life insurance, paid holidays, vacation, 401k & Roth participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program and above all, a great place to work.Midcon Cables Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
