How You’ll Perform the Role
The Accountant position is responsible for the overall general accounting and/or costing functions, audit support and compliance reporting. The position is also responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger, account reconciliations, and working with other departments in the business including Treasury, AP, AR, Pricing, Customer Service, Operations, and Payroll.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

Routine responsibility for compilation of parts of manufacturing costs including payroll, inventory accountability, and distribution of factory labor, verification of actual costs and computation of variances.
Assists in build-up of Machine Hour rates.
Participate in Standard Cost Updates and year-end Standard Cost rollup.
Explain Variances.
Assists in managing the month-end closing and prepares journal entries as necessary.

What We Need From You

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Working towards CPA preferred
