Job Description : Purpose of Position:This position reports to the Accounting Supervisor and assists with the month-end close process and the preparation of monthly financial analysis reporting.Summary of Essential Job Functions: May be responsible for one or more of the following: Prepares General Ledger journal entries including recurring and accrual entriesFollows company established accounting processes and maintains good internal controlsMaintains monthly detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accountsProvides detailed analysis and explanations of monthly variancesPrepares documents and schedules for external auditorsAssists with quarterly review and year-end audit schedule preparationSupports other accounting functions as neededQualifications, Knowledge and SkillsBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or related experience3+ years of experience within general accounting.Proficient in MS OfficeMust be detail-oriented; possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlinesSkilled at applying past learnings and knowledge to new situations independently as well as part of a teamSkilled at providing feedback in an open, honest, and supportive mannerPerformance Drivers:Be EnterprisingDeliver Service ExcellenceShare Insights & ExpertiseDemonstrate Trust and IntegrityPhysical Requirements: These demands document the physical requirements of a specific job.
