JOB SUMMARY
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for developing a professional relationship with client management and staff. The Staff Accountant will also be responsible for specific general accounting functions and processes for each assigned client. This is a full-time salaried position.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Processing accounts payable in accordance with approval and accounting policies
Processing invoices in accordance with approval and accounting policies
Processing payroll in accordance with approval and accounting policies
Reviewing and processing expense reports and corporate credit card activity
Tracking and accounting for fixed assets and related depreciation

Various Balance Sheet account reconciliations and analysis
Maintenance of vendor files and customer files
General ledger account maintenance

Perform other related accounting, financial and/or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

At least 4 years general accounting experience, preferably with start-ups
Demonstrated success working collaboratively: within a functional team, across departmental functions, and with an executive management team
Strong communication skills
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment
Experience in QuickBooks Online, Expensify, Bill.com
Experience in NetSuite, Intacct
Experience in Paychex, ADP, Gusto, TriNet
Proficiency in all MS Office programs, with advanced skills in Excel

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
