And we’re just getting started.We’re looking for a talented Staff Accountant to join our rapidly growing Accounting team. This is a great opportunity to get exposure to various aspects of the financial process. As a Staff Accountant you will take the lead on certain key financial statement line items and reconciliations. You will also work on a team that empowers you to drive process improvement and efficiency throughout the company.RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other related financial activitiesPerform general accounting and other related duties for the organizationPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Maintain the general ledgerCode invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collectionsVerify and/or complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or related field is required2-3 years of related professional experience requiredProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite.The Simulmedia ExperienceWe take tremendous pride in maintaining a high bar for employees and fostering a strong team environment.
