Job Description : ***This is a hybrid role where we need you to come to our office on a regular basis but still are able able to primarily work at home if you desire. Only looking for candidates in central Indiana***SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESPrepares journal entries and account reconciliations related to Payroll and Temp Labor. Assists with month-end process.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSPrepare and book weekly Payroll Journal Entries.Prepare month end Accrual Entries – including Payroll, Vacation, and Temp Labor.Assists with Payroll related functions such as Workers Comp entries and reports.Assists with month-end process, i.e., key or upload journal entries into MAS.Prepares other various monthly general ledger account reconciliationsDistributes various monthly reports as requestsProvides support to Payroll/Temp Labor Manager as needed for special projectsCompletes required training classesAll other duties and responsibilities as may be assignedQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, or related work experienceCPA preferred but not requiredStrong understanding of full accounting cycle and GAAPMinimum of one year of accounting experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in ExcelMAS 200 experience a plusAbility to listen/communicate clearly and professionallyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAvailable to work assigned hours based on business needsFor internal candidates, have satisfactory job performance (not on a corrective action)Job Type: Full-timePay: $52,000.00 – $62,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Work Location: One location
