Job Description : Overview:
trustaff, one of the largest and fastest growing travel nursing and allied health staffing firms in the United States, is seeking a Staff Accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience to join our team and participate in the timely and accurate timely and accurate preparation of the financial statements of our rapidly-growing companies.
In this role you’ll reconcile balance sheets, prepare journal entries, perform financial analyses, and other activities in support of our accounting function.
What you’ll do…
Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts as evidenced by meaningful work-papers for each account
Prepare journal entries and enters into the accounting system
Complete financial analysis of margins and expense trends with supporting research into any variances of significance
Communicate to management of any areas of accounting that are out of the norm and that require attention such as missed sales or gross receipts tax payments, payroll clearing adjustments not being made, duplicate payments, missed billings etc.
Meet with management to review financial results
File sales tax and gross receipts tax reports with government agencies
Provide financial statements and other reports to various constituents
Perform additional duties as requested by management
And to do this, you’ll have these skills and experience…
Bachelor Degree in Accounting
2+ years of demonstrated accounting experience.
Experience in reconciling general ledger accounts
And it would be nice to have (but not required):
CPA or CMA
Prior experience working in a multi-company or divisional organization
Prior experience in a healthcare, staffing or public accounting field
Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience

Pay Range: $65K, based on location, qualifications and experience
