We have an immediate need for an associate-level Staff Accountant in our Administrative group at our headquarter office in Lorton, Virginia. The Work (examples)
Prepare daily cash receipts and disbursement reconciliation.
Process expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, and fixed asset depreciation with corresponding journal entries, if necessary.
Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations for bank statements and other balance sheets and accounts.
Assist in the preparation of internal and external monthly financial reports.
Complete regular and ad-hoc financial reporting and analyses.
Serve as backup for other team members
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in Business (preferred majors are Accounting and Finance) or 4 to 8 years of equivalent experience
Experience with Excel Intermediate level Excel user including pivot, VLOOKUP, and graphs
The compensation package will be discussed during the interview
