With six Southern California restaurants, a cafe, a food pavilion at Rady’s Shell, a Catering Company and more projects on the way, this thriving and expanding company is seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Staff Accountant at the home office in Banker’s Hill, San Diego.The successful candidate will be an experienced team player looking for a long term career with opportunities for continued responsibilities and advancement. Join us and be a part of our growing accounting team for a successful locally-based restaurant group.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years’ experience in general accountingProficient in ExcelExperienced with data entry, record keeping and accounting softwareSkills:Strong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to both work independently and cooperate with the accounting team in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentExperience with cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks experience a plus)POS restaurant management software experience, preferred, but not requiredResponsibilities:Credit card reconciliationsRecord sales and depositsAssist with Accounts ReceivableCredit card chargeback management and follow-upAssist with monthly Accounts Payable processIntercompany transfers and trackingInventory controls and COGS reportingFinancial reporting support to managementOther tasks as assignedJob Type: Full-timePay: $58,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:General Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
