Job Description : Duties & Responsibilities: Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible for ensuring vendor invoices, employee reimbursement and recurring monthly payments are processed timely – avoid any penalties for late payment.Prepare daily and/or weekly deposits by processing through the direct deposit banking system and posting to the general ledger.Prepare bank reconciliations in a timely manner.Prepare and enter journal entries – standard, recurring, reversing, adjusting, accrual, etc.Maintain employee personal time off (PTO) accrual.Review and generate monthly financial reports and make adjustments as needed.Follow and adhere to Yehowa Medical Services Financial policies and procedures.Assist with year-end tax reporting (W-2s, 1099-misc, etc.)Maintains efficient accounting, data, and internal control systems.Generates and posts bi-monthly payroll based on program allocation.Prepare and review monthly staff allocation.Works closely with Accounting Supervisor to maintain the timeliness of all accounting functions.Works with Billing Department to post patient billing and payment.Prepare audit schedule and information requested by external auditors.Actively maintains a highly organized filing system with vendor invoices, payroll records, deposit records, insurance and other financial records.Assist in grant and contracts budgets under the general direction of theAccounting Supervisor and/or Chief Financial Officer.Organize and maintain all fixed assets inventory such as computers, equipment, leasehold improvement and supplies.Assists senior management in the development and implementation of systems and procedures as needed.Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual grant reports. These reports including but are not limited to FQHC, local government and others.Prepares, analyzes, organizes and evaluates financial data.Assists Accounting Supervisor and/or Chief Financial Officers on special projects or conducts research as assigned.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements: Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to satisfactorily complete job:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business/Administration or equivalent experience2+ years of Financial Accounting experience.Detail-oriented, highly self-motivated, positive team-player attitude, and ability to work with minimal supervision.Experience in financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and UniformJob Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:GAAP: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location
