Job Description : Summary: As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the department by performing day-to-day and month-to-month accounting functions.Essential Job Functions: Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner, monitor progress and changesPerform monthly reconciliations, post adjusting journal entries, and provide useful variance analysis as appropriate Manage accounting functions including general accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, fixed assets, A/P, A/R, and invoicing. Provide timely response to requests for information/analyses from senior managementAccounts receivable/payableMaintain, manage, and report on strategic cash flow initiatives including detailed model preparation and presentation Create, prepare, and present other useful management reports to the shareholders on an as needed basis including billing realization reports, and budget vs. actual analysis Organize and update financial records and business logs and perform monthly bank settlements Prepare regulatory filings including property tax statements, 1099’s, and sales tax returnsAssist Controller in general projects and or audits.
