This position is for System Software Architects in Edge Systems. The successful candidate will work in Internet of Things (IOT) domain as part of High Velocity Platform Engineering Software and Systems Organization. We’re looking for someone passionate about building end to end system use case solution for various workload consolidation on native, docker container, virtualized and orchestrated platform, performance optimization across IA architectures to enable eco-partners and customers. Responsible for researching, recommending, and building software systems and solutions for IOT Edge Systems. Also, showcase end-to-end development responsibility in various phases of development by collaborating across teams in – Architecture, Design, implementation, debug and validation on the target system. Technically Drive Performance Optimizations/Identify bottlenecks for all use cases/workload/KPIs. This role is an exciting opportunity to work on leading edge IoT technologies and solutions for next gen products. The candidate will be working as a subject matter expert to platform engineering teams, product managers, customers to understand use cases, solutions and overall requirements to deliver complex and innovative software solutions.
Qualifications

1) Applicants should have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science Engineering with 12+ years of experience in System Software development.
2) Good programming skills in C, C++ and Python.
3) An excellent understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture and design
4) Relevant experience in software and systems architecture, use case development, SW stack integration, benchmarking and optimization on IA, HW/SW interface layers in virtualization, Containerization, Orchestration, Multi-OS Edge and Cloud solutions.
5) Exposure to AI and Vision analytics based on OpenCV, Tensor flow, Caffe etc.
6) Good exposure to Cloud and Edge security.

7) Proven track record working on complex software projects from definition to delivery and adoption.
8) Strong written and verbal communication with proper documentation skills to influence decision making.

9) Should be willing to work in highly cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary and cross-geographic teams.
10) Strong technical team leadership, analytical, mentoring and collaboration skills with technical stakeholders.
