Job Description : Tax Accountant (8-month assignment)
Location: Remote (Central time zone hours)
Salary: $32 to $34/hourly
Join an innovative Tax team, where collaboration is standard and new ideas are encouraged! In this contract role you will have an opportunity to engage with multiple teams at USBCDC as you review partnership tax returns related to our tax credit investments (Affordable Housing, Renewable Energy, Historic, and New Markets). You will have an opportunity to research material variances related to taxable income, tax credits, equity contributions, and cash distributions. Position will primarily be reviewing federal tax returns (Form 1065 and K-1)
Someone in this position is expected to have
Strong attention to detail
Effective time management skills
1-3 years of experience with partnership tax return preparation or review in a public accounting firm
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related studies
