In building and maintaining interpersonal relationships with our clients you will have the opportunity to manage all facets of bookkeeping, tax, consulting and financial statement presentation.In this position you will: · Have the opportunity to work in a highly moral and ethical, professional environment!· The chance to build strong relationships with our clients.· Have a Flexible Schedule – permanent Full-Time and Part-Time positions available (must work from our office). · Utilize state of the art AI Research tools· Have the ability to work with Cloud Accounting & tax preparation · Educational research and training opportunities· The chance to supervise and manage staffDaily Responsibilities: · Prepare Federal and State tax returns for individuals and all entity types, including research on issues that may arise during the compliance process, planning and transactional work.· Monthly bookkeeping services for specific clients as may develop or as opportunities arise.· Recognizes, anticipates and resolves tax issues; makes recommendations to small business clients regarding payroll, sales tax and other compliance matters· Assistance in performing financial statement audit and review as necessary· Markets firm services to existing and prospective clients.· Work to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed including tax planning, client interaction, and performing special tax projects· Assist and supervise staff with income tax preparation engagements and planning· Participate with senior staff and management in tax preparation and tax review· Supervise, manage and mentor staff; act as a role model by creating a positive work environment· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients; serve as a trusted business advisor· Take a protective role in business development – earn the respect of clients to attract clienteleWhat You Need: · Required Bachelors of Science in Accounting (Bachelors GPA will be looked at)· Preferred Masters of Science in Taxation (Masters GPA will be looked at)· CPA with active license Preferred· Required Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a public accounting firm· Required experience with tax preparation of income tax returns for individuals, trust, partnerships and S-corporations· Experience with tax preparation and research softwareWhat Makes You Eligible: · Be willing to work in an office in Coconut Grove, Florida· Through knowledge of accounting and tax principles· Experience with tax preparation and research software· Superior organizational, time management and analytical skills· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills· Commitment to best practices of the firm and consistent demonstration of ethical behavior· Meets productivity and efficiency standards.
