1. Prepare, Evaluate and Implement transfer pricing policies and guidelines for all subsidiaries / branches including foreign entities. These include mapping the transactions across the group that is subject to TP across various tax jurisdictions.
2. Guiding management/different business functions on any new tax regulations / changes like the introduction of tax concepts like POEM, BEPS, GAAR, MLI etc. and its implication on Comviva Group. Keep abreast of key international legislation (like OECD, various countries etc.).
3. Guiding business on tax optimization and efficiencies while entering into business deals.
4. Ensuring tax efficiencies and working towards better cash tax flows for the group.
5. Protecting the tax position of Company in an Audit on transfer pricing.
6. Tax compliances for overseas branches/ subsidiaries include ensuring timely deposit of WHT, VAT, provisional taxes, filing of provisional/final Income tax returns. Coordinating with the tax consultants in various countries to ensure that tax strategies and tax compliances are being met.
7. Representation before direct/indirect tax authorities in tax litigation matters on need basis in India and outside India and coordination with the tax consultants/attorneys on ongoing tax litigations.
8. Coordinating with the auditors in respective countries for branch /subsidiary audits with back end support from accounting team.
9. Coordinating with auditors (statutory and internal auditors) for handling tax related queries.
