Key Responsibilities
Collect and analyze performance requirement for MetricStream’s modules and App solutions.
Validate performance for MetricStream modules and apps for each release.
Automate Performance activities using Python.
Conduct API performance Testing.
Conduct capacity testing for each modules and apps.
Validate performance improvement of modules and apps over sprints and releases.
Define performance test scope, create performance test plans and get agreement with all stake holders.
Design, develop and maintain performance test scripts and test suite using performance tool NeoLoad.
Ensure the performance lab is configured for test execution needs and execute the tests on time.
Gather metrics during performance test execution and prepare test results and send them to stake holders on time.
Analyze test reports, runtime logs and dumps (Java heap and/or thread dumps, GC logs etc.) and provide recommendation of performance bottleneck identified during the test execution.
Participate in a team environment, supporting other members, sharing knowledge and contribute to a positive outcome to the team’s performance.
Work closely with Dev, QA, product management and support staff members as needed.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 4 -7 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
Should have worked on Neo Load/JMeter/LoadRunner performance tools.
Exposer to Python coding and automation tool development.
Good knowledge in performance testing concepts and analysis.
Strong understanding of N-tier web architecture, web server and application server performance.
Should have good experience in java and J2EE based web applications.
Work experience in SQL and able to identify bottlenecks in database server performance.
Education

Engineering/ or Equivalent degree
