Job Description : Position time frame: begin mid May and end late August, approximately.Day Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pmThis is a temporary Accountant assignment. Not eligible for full time benefits.Qualifications/Reporting: Required minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. May substitute 6 years of experience in accounting work with High School degree or GED.Required minimum experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in accounts payables; preferably in the healthcare field.Required skills (if applicable): Familiar with account classification system. Experience with PC based spreadsheet software and 10-key calculators by touch. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent math skills required to calculate, verify invoices, and complete reports.Required license/certification: NoneJob reports to (title of the position): ControllerJob titles reporting to this position: NoneJob Summary: Responsible for all aspects related to the daily functions of the Accounts Payable Department. Reviews, researches and processes vendor invoices and voucher requisitions by adhering to accounting policies and procedures in order to produce accurate financial statements and ensure timely payment of hospital bills.Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
