You are responsible for
Provide technical leadership to the team of testers.
As one of the main technical interfaces engage and contribute to the definition of testable requirements and coach the test teams in implementing and performing test plans.
Design Test strategy and test approach. Collaborate with architects and designers to create testable maintainable systems and convert requirements into test designs.
Participate in the testing of components for Patient Monitoring
Documenting technical deliverable like test plans, test design, test cases and test report, Release note etc. throughout the project life cycle.
Interacts effectively with other functions (verification, Quality, regulatory, project management) for the success of the project
Review project test plans and ensure consistency.
Progress reporting – Ensure test progress is properly managed and reported.
Product quality – Define acceptance criteria for verification of requirements with shared responsibility for project scope/requirements and risks.
Medical regulatory compliance. Work and document according to relevant standards and medical device directories.
Responsible to optimize the Lab setup for Patient Monitors, strategize and support team for effective utilization of Lab equipment’s
Must be highly self-motivated with a desire to produce world class innovation to meet customer needs for the future
You are a part of
The team that drives and designs efficient solutions for the software verification of the Philips patient monitors in close collaboration with the global teams from Software Verification, Software Development and Quality Engineering to continuously improve our test processes and tools.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
10-15 years of experience in Medical Domain and Testing with the following skill set –
Completed Degree in the field of Biomedical / Medical Engineering or similar
A team player, eager to invest in personal and team growth
Highly proficient in testing various Medical devices
Strong analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills. A problem solving and pragmatic attitude.
Excellent and proven experience in translating test architecture into V&V plans
Able to build trust and influence environment
Strong drive in the field of software testing
Strong & proven management skills for test & integration teams
Good understanding of medical device testing and in driving quality and regulatory changes
Preferably experience in Test Automation on various platforms (Embedded SW, PC application and mobile app)
Basic knowledge of Configuration Management, Risk Management and Requirements management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in a multi-site, multi-national development team
Preferably working experience in agile development methodologies
Openness to collaborate in interest of project/organization by understanding IT systems, Networking and Virtual Environment.
ISTQB advanced, or preferably ISTQB CTAL certification or equivalent.
