The Treasury Accountant will monitor cash flow in companies and control money transmission tools. The role includes managing bank accounts, maintaining financial records, performing banking operations, providing financial advice to the company, and handling the cash management system.
Responsibilities:
Perform and review daily wire transfers, checks, and funds transfers.
Maintain bank, debt, and interest schedule, credit facility documents.
Assist and perform monthly cash budget and performance variance analysis.
Analyze bank fees, bank cost information, and recommend cost savings.
Assist with preparation of bank account documentation, including new account openings and legacy closings, and updating authorities and entitlements.
Treasury Management System (TMS) experience strongly preferred.
Maintain TMS systems and procedures for monitoring the internal controls related to handling of fund receipts and disbursements.
Assist with letter of credit and PU documentation and maintain and update in the TMS system.
Assist with daily cash flow and ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational.
Good communication skills, ability to interact efficiently, and maintain banking relationships.
Assist with other treasury/accounting department-related functions participating in special projects or compiling special reports as needed.
Overtime may be required for this position.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, three to five years of progressively responsible treasury experience. Should have a thorough understanding of bank account management, banking service, and international funds flow.
Bilingual in Mandarin and English, specifically the ability to read and write.
Experience working for an oil trading company strongly preferred.
Strong verbal & written communications and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to thoroughly analyze data and work independently.
Strong systems skills are a plus, ERP, e-banking platforms (Citi Direct), Treasury Management Systems.
