Job Description : Position Summary: The VP, CFO Advisory Services will direct and oversee the newest client-facing service line at Analytix. You will bring CFO and Controller services and advisory to our clients including leading their financial activities, directing the preparation of current financial reports and creating forecasts predicting future growth. The team that you build could have direct responsibility for our client’s accounting department, FP&A, Account Payable, Account Receivable, budget preparation, and/or audit functions. The VP, CFO Advisory Services will bring strong financial, analytical, managerial, communication, and leadership skills as they will also be tasked with both building and leading a team, while also delivering high-quality results in a revenue driven service line.Key Responsibilities Area: Key Focus Areas: Analytix is seeking a driven VP, CFO Advisory Services to develop and scale a new client-facing service line at Analytix; CFO Advisory. Our customers have shown us the demand and we are preparing our team to provide the supply. The Vice President will identify the business line strategy, tie it into the broader Analytix $25 x ’25 Strategic Plan and implement the plan at the most tactical level.The VP, CFO Advisory Services will be a resourceful problem-solver, driving the formation of this entity, identifying the required resources, staffing & training the team, developing the client pipeline, and delivering high quality results for our clients. Our ideal candidate will maintain a high degree of organization to understand the complicated discipline of finance, develop internal capabilities to provide these services to others, and ensure client expectations are met. This is a new department and will require a leader who can think outside-the-box to develop leads, opportunities and avenues for this new service delivery line to generate revenue.Primary Responsibilities: The VP will be given a blank canvas to develop the program and must show they can lead in the face of complexity and ambiguity, while creating a financially viable service line. You can expect to demonstrate the following:Build an outsourced service delivery center capable of:CFO ServicesFinancial reporting/modelingPerformance trackingFinancial strategic planningBudgeting and expense controlOrganizational leadershipDue Diligence and M & A supportFundraisingHelping in turnaround situationsSuggest improvements to current methods & processesControllerProvide financial visibility for companyOversee accounting departmentMonth end closing and preparation of financial reportsEstablish formal financial proceduresManage budget processCash flow managementEvaluate internal control processesDevelop and maintain financial business performance metricsOversee tax complianceEducation and Experience Requirements: Masters degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance requiredCertified Public Accountant designation preferred.10+ years of experience leading financial teams in agile environmentsExperience leading a matrixed organizationPublic accounting experience preferredSales experience preferredDepth managing, leading, and scaling business(s) that are $10M+ revenueNever be afraid to roll up your sleeves and take action to execute solutionsInternational and cultural expertiseExcellent verbal and written communication skillsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Woburn, MA 01801: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Master’s (Preferred)Experience:CFO Advisory Services: 4 years (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location
