POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for handling the daily posting of cash receipts to our general ledger, journal entries and month end procedures, reconciling client accounts receivable and liabilities, supporting complete client records, as well as generating internal monthly and adhoc reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail as well as the ability to multi-task and juggle priorities. Solid organizational skills and cognitive thinking along with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft office. This individual will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager and will work closely with all sides of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Record cash receipts daily
Process credit refunds to clients
Record journal entries for client accounts
Record month end journal entries
Record month end adjustments
Reconcile deposits and receivable accounts for month end close processes
Support our end-to-end accounts receivable process for our global client base
Pull credit reports for new and existing clients to evaluate credit worthiness
Reconcile customer receivable accounts daily to ensure that all payments are accounted for properly
Support special projects upon request

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or revenue accounting
NetSuite and other account software experience preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal business partners and clients
Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with all levels of personnel
Adaptable to a changing, fast-paced work environment
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to provide exceptional client service through a sense of urgency and commitment to quality
Display appropriate ethical knowledge through extraordinary confidentiality, integrity and professional presentation and conduct
Ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently
Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize work flow
Solid Cognitive thought skills
