You will be a member of Sourcing Insights & Digitalization (SI&D) India team based in Bangalore working closely with Sourcing and Operations (Procure to Pay) colleagues globally. The India team is a unit of the Global Sourcing Insights & Digitalization function. The expectation and vision of both SI&D as well as its stakeholders is to develop into a Centre of Excellence for Global Sourcing in terms of Data Analytics, Insights, Digitalization & Sourcing business systems.

Your key performance areas are:
Primary: (70% workload)

P2P System Admin and functional Subject matter Expert:
Serve as a subject matter expert for the P2P system, performing user training and maintaining procedural documentation
Ensure compatibility, interoperability, and participate in efforts to integrate P2P system with other systems (e.g. SAP, Spend analysis tools).
Manage and improve Master Data (currency, user profile, product codes etc.) in the application
Maintain and adjust approval workflow configuration
Support Users and troubleshoot/triage user issues
Escalate performance and functional issues with P2P system vendor product support
Take lead on implementing P2P systems in new sites
Train and support suppliers on catalogue management/supplier onboarding activities when necessary
Vendor Management activities in existing Procure to Pay tool (vendor profiles, master data, reporting etc.)
Identify and execute process/system improvement solutions:
Through data/process analysis and understanding of system features and best practices; identify gaps, propose improvements, and execute them
Support in building and executing technology improvement roadmap for the global P2P system
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Liaise closely with Procurement Operations team to discuss and resolve operational pain areas and system improvement opportunities.Engage with stakeholders across the value chain (Sourcing, IT, Digitalization, Supplier) to co-create effective and efficient solutions

Secondary: (20-30%)
Support in catalogue management/supplier onboarding activities in the P2P system
Build operational knowledge and support in existing eSourcing and Contract Life Cycle management solution
Actively participate in the execution of the overall SI&D strategic plans
Stay up to date on organizational and functional strategies, as well as financial and operational goals [in order to successfully scope own tasks]
Builds networks and liaises with similar expertise across industries, locally as well as internationally, to stay abreast of leading-edge thinking

Capabilities/skills need:
1: Beginner/Intermediate level knowledge is a requirement

Operational Operational/Admin level knowledge of a P2P system like Ariba, Coupa, Tradeshift etc.

Operational Catalogue and content management in a P2P system

Operational Understanding of Sourcing processes

Operational Basic understanding of eCommerce systems & search optimizations

Operational Supplier Relationship management (including supplier onboarding, integration, training)

Operational Understanding of P2P processes

Operational Proficiency in Data crunching

Technical MS Office (PowerPoint, excel, word)

Technical Master Data Management [P2P system]

Technical Understanding around inter-operability between systems and related technologies (e.g., API)

Technical SAP MM

Technical Integrations with SAP [functional]

Technical Any other skills around data analysis (Power BI, Tableau, Python etc.)

Technical Project Management tools

Improvement Solutions to business problems using [out of the box] system features

Improvement Agile and Innovative thinking

Improvement Business process re-engineering

Improvement Stakeholder relationship management

Improvement Process improvement

To succeed you must hold:
Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar is expected
ERP Systems preferred experience (Coupa, SRM, Ariba SAP, Tradeshift)
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Procure to Pay processes
Any Certification around System Administration of a recognized P2P system will be preferred
You have a curious approach in a structured and analytical way
Communicate clear and concisely, and a good understanding of how to translate high complexity into simple concepts and actionable fact-based recommendations
Drive for Results: Perseverance and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take on new challenges, works to resolve tough issues
Highly Collaborative and effectively manages multiple duties and tasks
