The Role: As Associate Director – Crop Protection, you will be responsible for:
The primary responsibility of this position is to build a strong topline and bottomline in the CP business category.You will work on creating a strong portfolio for AgroStar’s customers. Build and maintain relationships with brands across various companies. Build strategies for achieving targets pertaining to sales. Work closely with the Direct Sales, Farm Solution & Marketing team for achieving sales targets.
To monitor and track product movement, category contribution and develop strategies to liquidate slow movers and distress inventory with regional sales teams and initiate actions.
Study and analyze customer requirements,trends and plan product launches and portfolio expansion .
Qualifications we look for:
Minimum 10-12 years’ of experience in the Agrochemical industry. MBA Agri Business Preferred (Product/Brand Manager or Zonal Marketing Manager)
Strong and in-depth CP market & Geography knowledge.Preference to candidate having strong work experience in Western & Central India
Excellent interpersonal skills can work well with cross functional team members and can manage sales remotely .
Good Presentation and Communication skills.
Desired personality traits of being a self-learner, collaborator and extra miler.
Strong in numbers and has strategic ability to drive results.
Ready to travel extensively to rural locations
