Job Description : Who we Are:
Cisco’s Customer Care Business Unit (CCBU) is seeking to add a Software Engineer to its Agile software development team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced and dynamic team that adheres to Collaboration, Delivering Value, Resourcefulness to Change & Quality.

Who You Are:
As an Individual you would be responsible for implementation of new features and sustenance of Cloud Contact Center. Must have good communication skills and must be a standout colleague. Fully understand the development process and methodology. A self-starter who is motivated and willing to seek challenging problems.

Who You’ll Work With:
You will be working with like-minded hardworking Engineers in architecture, designing, and building the contact center portfolio products.
Work closely with other functions such as Product Management, UX and Quality Engineering to ensure right products/features are built with the highest possible quality.
What You’ll Do

Build high performance, highly scalable, complex, and distributed systems – end to end
Develop simple solutions to address complex problems.
Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performant code base.
Bring technical solutions to the leadership team, feedback on solutions recommended, new product ideas with the team through design review, pair programming, code review and tech talk.
Ability to share technical solutions and product ideas with the broader team through design review, code review, proof-of-concepts and show and tell
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products
Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and software and hardware engineer

Skills Required:

You are Engineer with 4+ Years of experience in below technologies:
Strong development skills in Java, Data Structures, Algorithms
Strong cloud skills in areas of Security, Resilience, Performance
Hybrid cloud development background in premise (monolithic) to cloud (micro services) product migration with AWS/Azure/GCP
Strong object-oriented design and development experience
Excellent communication skills and a good teammate.
Solid understanding of Web Services and REST programming.
Proven ability to learn quickly
Experience in Agile development practices
Ability to work with customers to resolve problem

Skills Desired:

Experience in ReactJS, AngularJS, Python, HTML5, JS, CSS
Well versed in gRPC, SpringBoot, ELK, Redis, Containers
Contact Center knowledge/experience
Knowledge of Media, Voice XML protocols/concepts
Good understanding of Telecom and Networking
