What You’ll Do
Manage a high performing core engineering team of individual contributors that is deeply technical, dynamic, agile, dedicated and innovative.
Set product direction in close collaboration with other development and product management teams. Drive the long term direction of the product for features, higher performance and scale.
Drive projects across many cross functional teams across geographical regions
Recruit and retain top talent, motivate team members and align them to common goals, coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Hands on engagement reviewing Architecture & Design specs, Code and test plans, defining test strategy and triaging of defects with engineers across Development and Testing.
Set a high bar for quality and performance and work with all stakeholders to maintain that.
Hands on experience in automation of customer use case, performance testing and scale testing
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent experience
12-14 years of experience in test/productivity engineering(Functional/E2E/Scale/Performance)
4+ years of experience managing direct reports
Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming, framework design and Python automation
Strong understanding of OS fundamentals (Mac/ Linux/ Windows)
Solid understanding/experience of containerisation services such as Docker/Kubernetes
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead discussions
Excellent troubleshooting skills and great attention to detail
Experience supporting an enterprise-level SaaS environment
Security Experience a plus
Experience with AWS
Good understanding of virtualisation is a plus
