What you’ll achieve
As a IT Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for design, develop, validate and deploy high quality customer experience applications / portals that not only meet Dell & industry standards & guidelines but also meet or exceeds customer expectations.
You will:Responsible for designing/managing the application Infra where the application code will be executedServer management and Cloud Infra Cost OptimizationAnalyze all platform level changes and monitor impact for same and provide appropriate technical solutions to resolve all issues efficientlyDevelop various reports to be presented to managementSuccessfully communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale and Drive Innovation & Technical excellence across Product Line

Essential Requirements8-12 years of experience in platform Engineering with great system administration skills.Good hands on/understanding of Linux, cloud technology (Containers and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)) as well as being interested in learning, using and applying new technologiesFamiliar with Load Balancing, High Availability, Authentication/Authorization Security, Failover concepts.Experience with OpenSSL, TLS, Encryption etc.Familiarity with monitoring tools (like Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios etc.) and system monitoring concepts.
Desirable RequirementsWorking Experience with Cloud technologies preferable PCF, PKS and messaging systems like Rabbit MQ’s and KafkaExperience with NoSQL DB technologies (MongoDB/Elastic Search etc.) and vulnerability management tools like Checkmarx/SonarQube/BlackDuck will be plus.
