Key responsibilities
Perform day to day activities, i.e., Manual Journal entries, monthly accruals & provisions, payroll postings, Fixed assets recognitions, changes and disposal in the system.Perform monthly closing and group reporting in accordance with APMM GAAPPerform Statutory tax reporting of the countryPerform monthly balance sheet review for in-scope entities in Europe region, including verifying accuracy and substantiation of all relevant accounts, and implementing appropriate action points in case of deviation from acceptable accounting principlesConduct financial statement analysis, coordinate with various process owners to consolidate specific accounting and tax information (as necessary), and provide reports on operational resultsCoordinate internal control attestation with relevant control performersRelevant additional tasks, as deemed necessaryEnsure compliance with relevant financial controls, as determined globally and locallyComplete deliverables and other assigned tasks within targeted timeline and SLA, including timely response to inquiriesProactively highlight any performance/process gaps and room for improvement, and follow-up with the relevant stakeholdersUtilize accounting knowledge of processes and understanding of impact on other work groups to assist others on more complex issuesProvides tax and audit requirements based on establish deadlinesContinuously seek, propose and establish improvements in the processes handledServe as back-up resource in the absence of other team membersPerform other tasks and ad hoc activities that are deemed necessary as assignedThe position will primarily report to and support Area Financial Controller

We are looking for
Graduate of BS Accountancy5 or more years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in Multinational companies. Preferably with Records to report experienceProficient in MS Office, esp. ExcelSAP knowledge or JD Edwards is an advantageStrong analytical skillGood communication skillsConfidentiality and discretion of a very high level is expectedCapable of meeting very strict deadlines and flexible to work in a team environmentHighly energetic and self-motivated, proactive and resourcefulAble to adapt successfully to multiple tasks that occur in a rapidly changing environment and to perform in highly interruptive conditions to meet time pressures/deadlinesWilling to take on stretched goals, and to go above and beyond for urgent work requirementsCan start immediately
