Position Purpose
The member of APAC IT Storage infrastructure setups and maintains backup and storage infrastructure to provide stable, cost-effective and performing storage environment to the business across Asia Pacific within BNPP.

Ensure to be proven as good team player to deliver the objectives assigned to the team.
Technical Management
Services & system deployment:
Set up & maintain IT common infrastructure architecture in APAC ( SG, HK, JP, CN, AU, ID, KR) :
Enterprise backup system management – TSM, Networker backup system in APAC ( SG, HK, JP, CN, AU, ID, KR) :
Backup policy strategy, standard & local regulatory compliancy
Centralized Tape backup archiving on-site and off-site storage
Corporate Tape Library infrastructure setup and administration
Configure New backup clients
Setup new system infrastructure environments to host the IT I&P regional applications
Maintenance & Support:
Provide Incident troubleshooting and support for the Storage and backup infrastructure (possible night calls; WE work; shift work from 7:00 to 21:00)
System’s performance monitoring and fine-tuning
System’s problem management and recovery
Storage provisioning and usage control
Backup system security and vulnerability management
Ad-hoc backup/restoration handling
Yearly media stock take exercise and backup media lifecycle management
Storage usage, dashboard and charge-out report
Must have a continual improvement and risk mitigation focus and proactively improve the monitoring, efficiency, reliability, capacity and quality of all IT services under his/her managed perimeter.
Guarantee functioning of the infrastructure/services in APAC, taking into account business requirements
Responsible for having an operational up to date BCP / DR documented and tested
Business relationship management
Liaising with Business Application Teams, Regional IT Teams, Global Infrastructure Support and IT Security Teams to resolve issues, complete tasks and deliver projects in a timely fashion.
Governance
Planning and completing designated projects from start to end, providing regular updates on task and project status and ensuring project deadlines are met on time.
Responsible for the SLA section related to the tower: SLA definition, reporting, dashboards.
Ensure the coordination and collaboration with Global Head of the relevant functional area.
Ensure that the instructions and guidelines of the Group (esp. IT Security guidelines and Global ITI&P Governance) are respected and the architecture is validated.
Responsible for controls to be run for as well as the closure of audit points related to the tower.
Competencies (Technical / Behavioural)
At least 5-year experience in administration of NetBackup, TSM, tape library, VTL, backup appliance and other backup infrastructure related products
Familiar with NDMP, NFS and CIFS protocol
Good knowledge in storage security
Preferably working in a financial institute
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work productively in a dynamic environment and work independently.
Ability to maintain good workflow and documentation and constantly seek enhancement.
Specific Qualifications Required
NetBackup and TSM administration intermediate to advanced level
Physical and virtual tape library management intermediate to advanced level
ITIL foundation for service management
