Job summary
It is still Day 1 at Amazon. As Brand Marketing Manager for Amazon.in (A.in), you will have a remarkable opportunity to shape the positioning of the parent brand A.in and influence the right brand perceptions in line with brand’s journey, actions and on-ground impact across different sets of stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and executing brand marketing strategies (Content, Advertising, and Mass Media mix) for brand Amazon for a diverse cross-strata of stakeholders – Customers, Our Business Partners and Opinion leaders etc. You will achieve this by identifying the right insights, opportunity areas, Amazon’s width of programs/initiatives and their role. You will bring your proven creative, analytical and project management capabilities to imagine, plan, implement and optimize compelling storytelling that drives brand narrative, in a programmatic way to achieve scale and cut through. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your marketing prowess towards contributing to one of the most exciting work-streams in the non-tech family.

You will be an organized self-starter with ability to meld creativity, customer obsessions as well as project management skills to collaborate and drive effective marketing programs.. You will need to wear the invention hat more often than not and set up new mechanisms to mine for insights, new content creation and media push models, along with strong ownership and focus. You will be someone with ability work smoothly across several cross functional teams like operations, selling partnerships, PR, research etc., collaborate effectively and act as a single-threaded owner on multiple marketing interventions. You should have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to provide though leadership to set of cross-functional collaborators.

This role is part of IN Cross Channel Marketing (XCM) team. XCM is responsible for creative strategy, creative development, campaign management and Mass media strategies in offline & digital media. The XCM team works closely with the product and business teams to ensure optimization of brand and product messaging and spends across all marketing channels. This role will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager, Brand Marketing in the XCM team. This role, will eventually be based out of Bangalore post WFH guidelines end.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategize, develop and execute marketing interventions (campaigns, alliances and programs for A.in brand
Develop a programmatic push mechanism, x-org of relevant campaigns and initiatives.
Partner with creative agencies, research and media partners to create integrated marketing plans
Responsible for the local market segment, competition, global trends and consumer analysis that help you determine your marketing strategy.
Propose, analyze & publish stakeholder research to drive insights
Brand Marketing experience in a large corporate/conglomerate set up
Strong, Hands On integrated marketing skills – Insight to Media GTM
Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be comfortable working both at the strategic level and diving deep into implementation as needed (managing campaigns, writing business requirements and analyzing data). You will show hustle, take ownership and help foster a high-energy, high-performance culture.
Highly effective written communication skills honed to develop thoughtful, strategic and detailed documents that can persuade senior leaders of the effectiveness of the team’s proposed plans.
