Job Description : The Fraud Business Infrastructure Analyst will support the the GCB Fraud Prevention function covering credit, debit and partner card products as well as retail banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for the availability, SLA and efficiency of our core data services, batch jobs and applications. Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve complex production issues relating to data, file delivery, performance, infrastructure and applications. Collaborate with business, data analysts, ETL and web development teams to resolve data design or transformation issues. Comply with , identify and adopt operational best practices and process improvements across Audit, Risk, Incident, Change and Problem management. Ensure completion of root cause analysis and eliminate repeated incidents. Plan and support platform upgrades. Participate in disaster recovery exercises.
This position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide real time support and management of incidents throughout incident lifecycle within a production environment.
Work across a wide array of product lines and engages various teams as needed.
Provide immediate tactical response and coordination minimizing duration of service interruptions.
Take ownership and acts as liaison between Infrastructure teams supporting various components – operating systems, databases, storage, network and virtual environments.
Provide regular incident bulletins to teams concerning open or ongoing incidents.
Work with internal teams and external vendors on an as needed basis.
Ability to review logs, databases, applications to find the problem/root cause
SQL skills (write select statements, read/debug stored procedures).
Ability to apply analysis, creative thinking when solving problems.
Acute attention to detail and decision making capability within specified parameters.
Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization.
Skilled at identifying and implementing process improvements.
Ability to organize tasks and priorities effectively and under minimal supervision.
Ability to navigate in Linux / Windows proficiently.
Develop and maintain documentation, departmental technical procedures, and user guides.
Work flexible hours as required to achieve a global follow-the-sun support model.
Work non-standard business hours on an on-call basis in a 24x7x365 environment.
Job Skills/Qualifications
5+ years experience with RDBMS Database Development – Advanced T-SQL or PL/SQL.
2+ years experience with ETL Tools – Microsoft BI (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS), Talend or AbInitio.
1+ years of hands-on experience in Python/Pyspark/Scala.
Good understanding of ITIL framework.
Exposure to Hadoop/Big Data technologies.
Linux shell scripting.
Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Enterprise scheduling tools (Autosys, etc).
Experience with Connectivity Tools (Connect Direct, SSH Tectia).
Experience with NoSQL databases – MongoDB preferred.
Experience with Data Visualization tools – Tableau preferred.
Financial or Banking Industry experience.
Education:
BS/BA in Computer Science or other technical discipline
