We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Role Title: Consultant Specialist
Location (Country / City): India / Pune
Principal responsibilities
PeopleSoft concepts/overview of the General Ledger (GL), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Portal Integration Hub applications
People Tools knowledge of Application Designer, People Code, SQR, Application Engine etc.
Knowledge of Databases – Oracle database
Knowledge of DataStage highly desirable.
Very good Knowledge of Control-M v8 and extraction of Jobs’ executioin status using Control M API
Unix scripting knowledge.
Knowledge of Mainframe CA7 scheduler and extraction of Jobs’ execution status.
Production Support and Defect Fixing.
People Tools/PeopleSoft application upgrade Knowledge
Gathering Requirements & Performing Analysis independently
Qualification: BE/BTech/MCA
Requirements
Should have good hand-on experience in PeopleSoft Development and Support related activities.
Working knowledge on Quest STAT tool for performing PeopleSoft migrations
PeopleSoft coding tools experience in – Application Designer, Data Mover, People Code, SQR reports, Application Engine.
Control-M experience – Monitoring the jobs and resolve the issues related to batches.
Unix Shell Scripting knowledge along with Linux/AIX server.
DataStage knowledge is highly desirable.
Database SQL tuning, performance optimization and troubleshooting on long running SQL’s.
Disaster recovery plans and archiving data procedure writing.
Level 2 Production Support
Working knowledge of designing and developing third party integrations using APIs is added advantage
Defect & Change Management using tools like JIRA/Quality Control (QC)
Working knowledge of DevOps Tools and Agile Methodologies
