Job Description
Software development from Requirement Engineering (with OEM) until Vehicle validation and release.
Complete software development lifecycle starting from ideation phase till series production
Technical interfacing between internal development teams and OEM R&D counterparts (Vehicle, Electrical, Advance Engineering)
Software validation on Prototype and Production Vehicles including interfaces to other systems in the vehicle
Support during engine and vehicle first firing at OEM location
Performing functional test(FT) on vehicle before each SW release(SW commissioning )
Be part of joint validation with OEM counterparts on vehicle
Quick support to development team in Bangalore for capturing vehicle measurements for analysis as needed
First level analysis and support in any Field failures topics
Qualifications
B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech – EEE / ECE / Instrumentation
Additional Information
Have 3-6 years or more experience as Software Developer/Engineer in Automotive domain like Power Train, Body or Chassis system or similar.
Strong development experience in embedded C and RTOS
Detailed knowledge on microcontrollers / microprocessors
Knowledge of CAN / Flexray, UDS / KWP, SPI communication protocols
Knowledge of tools like CANalyser / CANoe
Experience in using tools like Logiscope / Function Generator / Oscilloscope etc.
Good debugging skills and knowledge of debugging tools.
Awareness of CMMI/ASPICE methodologies will be an added advantage.
Experience with AUTOSAR SW standards will be an added advantage.
Knowledge on scripting language like Perl, Python will be an added advantage.
Excellent Communication (Oral & written) and Interpersonal skills.
Should be proactive and able to work independently.
