Roles and Responsibilities
You will research new technologies and feature improvements on the IoT firmware and hardware. You will design and build prototypes to evaluate the feasibility of new technology. You will bring state-of-the-art technologies to IU devices that will help provide enhanced value to customers and businesses to achieve manifold growth. You will collaborate with teams such as Firmware, Data Science, Cloud and manufacturing to deliver robust prototype designs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Embedded systems – PLC, Cloud application, cloud security, MQTT / COAP protocols
Technologies: C, C++, Python
Windows, Linux, Arduino,
Cloud • SAAS • Networking • Mobile • Cyber • IoT • Web • Embedded •
Use various types of MCUs: Microchip PICs, TI BLE SOC, CYPRESS BLE SOC
Working with: LCDs, ACCELEROMETERS, BLE, UART (232&485), CAPACITIVE TOUCH, SPI, I2C, PWM, ADC.
Hardware developments of Wired/Wireless circuits.
Low Power design.Cellular, RF and wired communication with site elements and centralized servers, using TCP/IP, UDP,SNMP, MODBUS protocolsBoard Design – Designing electrical circuits, Analog, Digital & Mixed: Schematic + Layout.Firmware & Real-time Programming – Develop microprocessor firmware (Microchip, TI) Programming in C language.Communication Protocols: USB, RS232, RS485, I2C, Bluetooth and more.Experience in Software regulations and Hardware EMI regulations.
Passionate about low-level programming, Linux, IoT protocols and devices, embedded systems, Arduino/ESP32/NRF/STM32, industrial or home automation, etc.
Your Stack – You are a programmer with experience in near metal code (C or Rust)
You own your deliverables, end to end: design, testing, implementation, deployment of prototypes.
Knowledge on the application of eSIM and LORA communications is desired to have the skill
