Do you have proven track record of building scalable data pipelines to support Firm-wide data distribution infrastructure? Are you confident at iteratively refining user requirements and removing any ambiguity? Do you want to design and build best-in-class, enterprise scale applications using the latest technologies?

We’re looking for Database and ETL developers to:
build reliable, efficient and scalable data pipelines using latest technologies on Cloudwork with a global org and help establish best practices surrounding data architectureidentify and come up with optimal data storage and processing needs of applicationssetup and run tests to ensure stability of the data pipelinesleverage own expertise to debug and rectify issues with the pipelines in a timely manner
Your team
You’ll be working with the Group CTO team in Mumbai/Pune. We provide Engineering services to all business divisions of the UBS group. Together as a team, we provide Infrastructure as a Service solution to all lines of businesses. As an experienced Database and ETL developer, you’ll play an important role in building group-wide web services that help build a robust world class data distribution platform.

Your expertise
8+ years of experience with proven expertise and solid knowledge of SQL and RDBMSs (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreQSL, Azure, ..)
design, implement and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities from heterogeneous data sourcesexperience in maintaining and improving already existing data pipelinesproven experience in one or more of ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, etcgood knowledge of NoSQL database technologies and Big Data technologiesknowledge of cloud ETL implementation (e.g. Azure Data Factory)experience working with stakeholders in designing and delivering correct and reliable datainvestigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users and propose adequate solutionsknowledge of data modeling principlesgood to have knowledge of Java and exposure in writing efficient Java codewindows and Unix/Linux environments (including command line magic and scripting for monitoring and maintenance of system jobs)
