How will you make an impact?
Reporting into LPB BI Supply Chain Delivery Manager, the LPD BI Supply Chain Data Analyst plays a key role in the LPD BI organization providing business continuity and insights for critical supply chain processes, data systems and solutions through project implementations, enhancements and documentation. The Data Analyst will be techno-functional role and work closely with the Supply Chain function to collect requirements and create scalable and optimum business intelligence solutions. S(he) is a creative thinker and able to visualize the hidden insights in data. The Data Analyst will design, develop and implement solutions that will drive actionable insights.
What will you do?
Own and deliver data and analytics solutions for LPD Supply Chain business processes and needs.
Defining, designing and documenting reference architecture and leading the implementation of BI and analytical solutions.
Collaborate with BI admins, developers and architects for successful solution delivery
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve BI capacity issues related to BI tools
Brings experienced point of view on differing BI architectures and tool and develops solutions based on supply chain use cases
Defines BI standards, guidelines and best practices for technical teams to achieve maximum efficiency
Supports developing the LPD BI roadmap in partnership with the broader LPD BI team
Ensure data quality and integrity before releasing to production
Responsible for validating LPD data against our Corp data stores
Proactively addresses scalability and performance issues
Translates data intelligence into actionable insights for informed supply chain business decision making
Stays abreast of emerging BI trends and tools
Build and enhance solutions using data engineering technologies.
Follow agile development methodologies to deliver solutions and product features
How will you get here?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant fields with 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst supporting enterprise data and integration applications or similar role for large scale enterprise solutions
Full life cycle project implementation experience
Experience using Jira/Confluence or similar tools for task prioritization and documentation.
5+ years working experience in delivering BI solutions
Understanding of Tableau, Domo, Power BI as BI visualization tools
Expert in SQL queries
Knowledge of DWH concepts and ETL development
Experience configuring and managing BI platforms
Knowledge of API enhancements to BI platforms
Demonstrated experience in defining and designing KPI metrics
Strong hands on experience with BI tools like such as Business Objects and Power BI
Working knowledge of relational database design and data modeling
Experience with agile development
Ability to analyze trends associated with large datasets
Strong supply chain knowledge
