What do you need to have?

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration or a related quantitative field
8+ years of high-quality hands-on experience in business & data analytics
Strong leadership skills to spearhead a team of smart analysts and work with multiple stakeholders within the practo ecosystem
Hands-on experience in SQL and Python
Great understanding of Marketing / Search / Data tools like Goodle Adwords, KDS, Facebook Ads manager, Google Analytics, etc.
Define the business and marketing metrics to be evaluated, work with engg on data instrumentation, create and automate self-serve dashboards to present to relevant stakeholders leveraging tools such as Tableau, etc.
Ability to structure and analyse data leveraging techniques like EDA, Cohort analysis, Funnel analysis and transform them into understandable and actionable recommendations and then communicate them effectively across the organization.
Work experience in Consumer-tech organisations (in Marketing domain) would be a plus
Developed a clear understanding of the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the product/strategic initiative and leverage it to identify and act upon existing Gaps and Opportunities
Process oriented and objective approach towards planning, prioritisation and management. Being creative while brainstorming & solutioning while also being able to then translate the solution into an extremely realistic and detail oriented execution plan
A value-based approach to work and problem solving is must – “Do the right thing even when no one is looking” attitude

What will you work on?

You will work with Marketing leaders to set up the analytics engine for all channels including – Product & Digital marketing, Retention, SEO and Consumer Insights
Providing strategic insights from both quantitative/qualitative data analysis on marketing activities – optimising SEM campaigns, evaluating ATL campaign performance, keyword / search term analysis and classification for SEM and SEO, Media Mix Modelling for campaign impact attribution, charting out levers for consumer retention, etc.
Collecting, aggregating, and analyzing performance of the various marketing channels and new initiatives on a regular basis
Identifying market trends to aid marketing decisions through analysing competitor and customer data
You will work with large, complex data sets to solve open-ended, high impact business problems using data mining, experimentation, statistical analysis and related techniques
You would have/develop a strong understanding of the business & product and conduct analysis to derive insights, develop hypotheses and validate with sound rigorous methodologies
You would apply excellent problem-solving skills and independently scope, deconstruct and formulate solutions from first principles that bring outside-in and state of the art view
You would expedite root cause analyses/insight generation against a given recurring use case through automation/self-serve platforms
You will develop compelling stories with business insights, focusing on the strategic goals of the organisation
You will work with Business, Product, and Data engineering teams for continuous improvement of data accuracy through feedback and scoping on instrumentation quality and completeness
You would be closely involved with the product & business life cycle working on ideation, defining success criteria, instrumenting for product features, Impact assessment, and identifying and recommending improvements to further enhance the Product features
Own development of a central source of truth in terms of self-serve dashboards & reports on tools like Tableau for empowering various teams with incisive data to make decisions on a day to day basis
Set high standards in project management; own scope and timelines for the team
Take responsibility for skill-building within the organisation (training, process definition, research of new tools and techniques, etc.)
Set performance benchmarks for the team; mentoring analysts within the team to deliver effectively, incubating new ideas.
Own prioritisation with stakeholders; negotiate and ensure high impact for work
Create roadmap/strategy for the respective business unit in collaboration with stakeholders
