The ETL Developer Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Datawarehouse applications in the Enterprise Data Warehouse Platform within D&B. Essential responsibilities for this position include the following: understanding Datawarehouse platform, owning data and reporting applications in the warehouse, subject matter expertise for enhancements and implementation of data pipelines and extractions using ETL tools (like SAP BODS) into the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Complex analysis on the data in the Datawarehouse. Additionally, the individual must perform functions such as: identifying and resolving issues and data reconciliation. Also, the individual will be working on implementation of processes enhancements in the system. Role is for individuals who are looking to start as Developer and grow in their career by taking part in various projects and Datawarehousing initiatives and lead them

Responsibilities: Understand the end to end picture of Datawarehouse platforms, applications involved Ability to own applications, serve as subject Matter expert for data and processes in the warehouse Sound technical knowledge in ETL pipelines, reporting structures in the Datawarehouse Interface with the upstream teams and the downstream teams Communication with the Finance, Accounting and other internal system teams Identify and resolve issues with efficiency, effectiveness and with consistently high quality Responsibly maintain data in various environments for various projects/initiatives Work or coordinate the work for various development initiatives in the area Ability to prioritize work modules, define alternatives. Ability to streamline systems, process oriented

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any equivalent degree 3-5 years experienced in Datawarehousing area in SAP Data Services ETL tool primarily Expert in SQL query writing for various scenarios and solutions Expert in working with SAP Data Services ETL tool Experienced in development and admin activities in SAP DS Experienced with code promotions in SAP DS Expert in working with databases like AWS Redshift/Snowflake Working knowledge in SAP Business Objects reporting Experience in creating tables, processing data from various type of source systems to tables Experience in troubleshooting of data issues, performance improvements on SQL queries Strong verbal and written communication skills Analytical and problem-solving ability. Self-motivated Ability to maintain technical proficiency. Ability to multi-task Experienced with working in projects where periodic status reporting is done

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in working with databases like SYBASE IQ Experience in financial data domain Experience using Talend/PowerBI
