Job Description : Akshar Foundation (www.aksharfoundation.org) is an NGO based in Assam, India, which has developed a world-renowned, innovative education model which transforms government schools into centers for sustainable development.To prevent student dropout, Akshar Foundation’s new education model employs older students as coaches for younger students and social workers for the community. As an Academic Coordinator, you will learn how to implement simple aspects of the model and help government school leaders and teachers learn the same.Responsibilities include:- Helping teachers coordinate school classes with individualised curriculum and peer learning.- Helping teachers to manage classrooms using tablets and digital smartboard.- Teaching classes- Coordinating vocational programs in community development for teens, including landscaping, recycling, construction, office work, electrician, carpentry and more.- Administrative and reporting duties.Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per monthSchedule:Day shiftApplication Question(s):Are you fluent in reading and writing English and Assamese (including ALL juktakhhor)?Can you travel to Kahilipara everyday?Education:Master’s (Preferred)Experience:Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)Expected Start Date: 10/03/2022
