Job Description : Role Overview:

As a Senior QA Engineer you will be responsible for automation, functional verification/certification, tooling,

continuous integration to ensure that the testing process progresses smoothly with a high degree of reliability.

Responsibilities:

Understand the requirements quickly, architect and design test strategies, provide effort estimations as inputs to SOWs using best QA practices,

Peer review and take it all the way to production releases while collaborating with development engineers, stakeholders and the build/release team.

Well versed in working with collaborative tools like Confluence wiki, JIRA.

Provide test requirements and recommendations for product quality and testability.

Create test strategies and designs leveraging mock test cases/response validation.

Test development, infrastructure setup, execution and automation

Contribution to test automation infrastructure with scripts and/or libraries

Provide support for investigation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues including resolution.

Collaborate with developers on new software features as well as enhancements to existing functionality.

Support the production release activities including dry-run certification and verification.

Skills set:

Candidate should have 6+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual and Automation) with a solid understanding of Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution and Defect Reporting & Tracking.

Should have strong Experience in SQL

Should have strong Experience in ETL testing.

Should have understanding skills on PL-SQL.

Working knowledge of Unix(Linux)

Should have strong Experience in web Based Front end & backend testing.

Should have strong Experience in Automating Web based Application using Selenium or any other Automation tools.

Should have knowledge in Designing and Executing the automation scripts using Selenium using Protractor Framework, Liner Framework, Function Driven Automation Framework, Data Driven Should have good Knowledge on Agile methodologies including agile ceremonies (SCRUM, Sprint planning, Backlog grooming and retrospective).

Should have excellent communication and presentation skills and can stretch.

Exposure in Dockers & Jenkins is good to have.

Exposure in Finance domain is good to have.

Exposure in Aniti Money Laundering products is good to have.

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
