Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits. Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods.Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment.Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions.Tests, validates, modifies and redesigns circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.Analyzes early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
Qualifications
In this position, you will be responsible for Developing/optimize new test programs and test content for products and their use cases. Working closely with design/DFT teams to comprehend ATE requirements, test time/fault coverage/data collection goals, and tester capabilities and limitations. Collaborate with Design/DFT team and integration design teams to understand the design and functional-mode behaviors of the logic and circuits. Ensuring DFT architecture meets DPM and Test time goals, debugging vectors/content on ATE, understanding shmoo results, statistical analysis and enabling production test. Understanding process variation, work with Fab team and design teams to meet yield goals within DPM requirements. Develop validation methodology against specification to meet customer requirement. Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods. Proposing, documenting and implementing new or improved Test Methodologies and/or flows Enabling and validation of various DFT features such as Scan, MBIST, JTAG, BScan, analog DFT, etc. for Intel’s leading edge SoC designs post Si. Developing HVM Reset sequence needed for manufacturing tests and enabling them on the HVM/Debug tester during early Si bring up phase by working closely with Design and Manufacturing PDE teams. Minimum Qualifications: Candidate should possess Master’s degree in Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/VLSI Engineering OR equivalent/related field. Preferred Skills and knowledge: Knowledge of Intel CPU/SOC architecture, scripting, UNIX, C/C++ and Perl, Python programming. Familiarity with DFT/DFD architectures and methodologies. This includes Scan, ATPG, Mbist, BScan, IO DFx, analog DFT, JTAG, Boundary scan, Fuse etc. Understanding of device physics, circuits, statistics, and fabrication process Knowledge of Verilog and System Verilog, RTL design and micro-architecture skills is a plus. Possess strong debug skills, problem-solving and influencing skills with strong desire to learn and contribute. Strong Communications skills and the ability to effectively work with cross functional teams.
