Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Supply Chain’s Digital & Analytics group requires qualified, skilled and experienced data engineers who can handle large volumes of data stored in different storage systems in the supply chain data management team. Suitable candidates should be able to identify the required data for any given operation and build a pipeline for extracting the data and identify computing resource needs to process them.
We are looking for a machine learning expert to drive the implementation playbook of our machine learning / deep learning / NLP / AI capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a sound experience on machine learning & entrepreneur mindset, excellent communication skills, proven track record of leadership, comfortable in interfacing with different stake holders, a passionate change agent and should constantly keep pace with industry trends and emerging technologies. Candidate should have a passion for conceptualization, prototyping, debugging & developing ML-based products, applications & solutions.
Responsibilities:
Partner with business teams to understand the problem statement, identify the different stake holders and quantify the benefits to the business of the solution under development.
Design, develop and deploy ML-based solutions across various business groups
Drive solution development through identification of right approach, algorithm, techniques & strategy.
Work with business teams to identify the source of data, ingestion strategy preprocessing needs and building the ML model / algorithms considering computing power, time and the business value of the data.
Partner across multiple operating segments including application development to realize the analytics vision
Collaborate across the J&J matrix to define and deliver ML based algorithms / solutions
Provide technical and thought leadership for the development of ML-based algorithms / solutions
Willing to undertake domestic or international travel as required by the projects.

Qualifications
Education: B.E /B. Tech or M.E / M.Tech or Ph.D
Required Years of Related Experience: 10+ Years preferably
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IT or related Engineer field is required.
2. Passion to learn and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
3. At least 6+ years of work experience as a Data Scientist.
4. Strong math skills (e.g., statistics, algebra) and aptitude
5. Expertise in Programming languages – Python.
6. Experience with Python library such as scikit-learn, tensorflow, pytorch, keras.
7. Proven experience as a Data Scientist
8. Experience in data mining
9. Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) and cloud providers like Azure, AWS, GCP is a plus
10. Excellent communication and presentation skills
11. Solid logical reasoning in feature selection, correlation of features, modelling techniques required
12. With little supervision, must be able to define, shape, and drive projects to completion.
13. Expert level in Python and R programming language with ability to write production quality code.
14. Expert in Machine Learning techniques
15. Good experience in Deep Learning techniques with minimum 2 years of experience in working on deep learning projects.
