We are seeking a talented Senior Member of Technical Staff(SMTS) to become part of the Business Technology software engineering team supporting Renewals(Service Cloud). The ideal candidate should be a technical expert with a solid background in object-oriented methodology, an expert in agile development and the ability to operate within short release cycles. You’ll be a part of a modern, lean, self-governing engineering team where you have the ability to balance among feature development, automated/manual quality testing, performance testing and DevOps for release automation.
The candidate must be able to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and have the ability to communicate well with cross-functional teams. You will be working with a group of world-class engineers, architects and product managers to build scalable, breakthrough features and integrations. Responsibilities :
Developing through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Adapt to change,own and be accountable to achieve business outcomes effectively.
Write code that others can understand, support, maintain, and expand.
Challenge and support team members to stretch beyond their comfort zone, fail fast, and learn from any mistakes.
Communicate status and risks to schedules to ensure on-time and quality delivery.
Champion the best practices and apply to daily work.
Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution required
Document test plans and publish test results with the goal of continuous improvement in code quality, test coverage (functionality and code).
Coach and Mentor junior developers in the team and enable them to deliver.
Perform code reviews for the group
Required Skills:
7+ years of experience programming with Force.com (Apex and Visualforce)
Extensive understanding of Object Oriented (OO) design patterns
3+ years experience and expertise with relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)
Proficiency in the software development lifecycle, code management, and release management. Agile development experience preferred.
Position requires:
Strong leadership, relationship building, and influencing skills.
Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Ability and desire to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders on an ongoing and regular basis.
Ability to operate in a complex environment of multiple projects and stakeholders and deliver effectively.
Experience developing in an enterprise environment such as source code control, IDE, continuous deployment, release management (Git,Jenkins)
Familiarity with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud.
Experience in designing and implementing automated test suite that are fast, robust, and maintainable using Java-based tools such as Selenium Web Driver, JUnit, and Apex will be a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, or related program is preferred.
SFDC certifications preferred.
