Job Description : Our data analysts are versatile and work with data in a number of different ways.
As a core activity they provide business insights from data. To do this they will engage with business stakeholders and define the business requirements. After defining the problem statement, they set up an analytical framework for conducting the business analysis. To set up this analytical framework they will borrow from classical methods of problem solving from diverse disciplines such as sales, marketing and finance. They will work with data scientists and data engineers to collect data and leverage analytical models to solve the business problem and make recommendations. The data analyst will present these recommendations to business stakeholders in a formal powerpoint presentation. On occasion, the data analyst may be asked to develop visualizations and dashboards using tools like PowerBI or Tableau. The data analyst may also lead data projects and serve as a project manager.
